BMI Code Share - Miles

Just flew HAM-LCY with a ticket booked via BMI, on a BMI code share with Lufthansa, the boarding pass doesnt have my Virgin number (despite me quoting it to them on booking).

Do I get 800 miles?

Typically not.

It's ONLY if the flight is operated by BMI. Were you on an actual Lufthansa plane? I know this is the case for BDxxx codeshares with Air Canada (on AC metal), it attracts nothing with Virgin, regardless of flight number/booking code.

What a pain, and it took forever to persuade two different people in India that they flew to City...

Does it say that though in the T&C? Sure I read them... Still it cost the best part of £400 so get te amex miles!

Oh it was an Air Connect (I think) operated Lufthansa flight.
