Simple question re UC seats

My wife and I regularly travel to EWR in Premium Economy.
But ahve decide on our next trip to 'try' UC.
Frankly we do not like the seat arrangements in UC as we do like to converse with each other. It does seem that the UC seats are really designed for single business travellers.
So now the question.
Does anyone know if the low level partition between the two centre UC seats can be removed - and if so will the crew do this without too much fuss

Yes they can be removed no problem at all, but remember they are only in the 5 LHR based 747s so you need to make sure your trip to EWR is on a 747
