Amex miles going missing

I checked my mileage account this morning and I now have less miles than a week ago. I phoned Virgin and apparently AMEX incorrectly added miles to peoples accounts so have taken them back and are recalculating them.

Clowns.

The whole situation with the Flying Club Amex card is a total mess. This is being discussed here so I'll lock this thread to avoid duplication.
