VS046 Changed tomorrow (9 Aug 08) to A346?

Hey all

On VS046 JFK LHR tomorrow... noticed at on line check in that aircraft changed to an A346 layout seatmap! Is this for sure? And how come?

Also just curious how often they change aircraft?

I was on it as a passenger with my family tomorrow too. Now the wide open flight is not so wide open and I am scrambling.

Yep it's def on a 346 amd about 50 overbooked now, so get there early. Is prob becasue we have one of the LHR 744s down at LGW covering a tech aircraft. It's being used on my vegas today and already we have a 4 hour delay!

So what flight is the LHR 744 covering from Gatwick tomorrow Galley Guy?

I have no idea what it is covering. I am in New York with my family. We were going home on the 46 today but now its oversold......so I am going to have to scramble around New York today in blind panic and try and get on something else.

anyone know which plane has gone tech and what's wrong with it?

Ohhh would love this to happen to me when I get back from JFK next month. Get extra time in NYC and I am not back in work for another 5 days. Might even get some miles compensation [y]
