Personalised letters with voluntary severance details, about to be sent to home addresses of 1,400 eligible managers. At this stage these are not compulsory redundancies.

I don't think any airline will be exempt. I assume there will be a knock on effect from the banking industry debacle. If a large percentage of Business Pax are from the financial sector, I don't suppose many will be splashing out on expensive J tickets for a while.
