he's buying more property again!

I wish i had know this yesterday, my cousin has bought an apartment in the same block!

BRITISH tycoon Richard Branson has reportedly paid a record $16 million for an apartment in Sydney's The Rocks area.


The Virgin founder is believed to have bought the luxury apartment in the Harry Seidler-designed Cove development, The Australian Financial Review reported today.

Forget about spending a penny - the apartment has five toilets costing $14,000 each.

I think I saw a story somewhere recently (Evening Standard?)saying RB's office had released a statement saying that he hadn't bought any property in Sydney, not even one with one bathroom!

Edited to say that, on further reflection, I think it might actually have been a letter of denial in response to a story. And it might have been in Metro (if anyone is particularly bothered)

$16 million is a LOT of money - I hope it is nice:D

If of course, the Aussies estate agents are not guilty of a being just a little economical with the truth - heaven forbid[}:)][}:)]
