Miles Plus Money Booking

Hi
I'm wanting to make a Miles Plus Money booking for 3 Upper Class seats to SFO in July. I also want to book the connecting flights from EDI, to get the luggage allowance. Can I do this? Do I just have to phone up Virgin Atlantic and do it all over the phone?

To cover the connections, you'll have to call, yes.

BUT be warned - connecting flights on a through ticket are often quite a bit more expensive than booking separately. (In some cases, 4/5 times the price of the discount ticket rate). All comes down to cost/convenience though.
