My parents are doing LGW-BGI next March in UCS. They've gone for 6A and K at the mo, but are worried about the closet which is in front of row 6 (or was on old UC). Is it still there in UCS and, if so, does it cause much disturbance to 6A/Ks' occupants?

No need to worry, it's not there in the UCS :)

Thank you kindly. Will pass on and ease their concerns, although they are still a little worried after looking at some of the seat ratings on here. Rightly or wrongly I've advised them that for a couple (and a sub 5ft 7 couple at that) 6A/K should suit them quite nicely.

We sat in 6A/K last Wednesday on the UCS and they were fine. The ottomans are a bit more cramped but its nice and private down there and greatvews from the windows. And you have the added joy that youre the front two people in the whole plane, ever more forward than the pilots!

Wolves27 and I just returned from SFO in seats 6A and K. We were a little concerned after reading the seat reviews on here, but while we understand people's comments we found the seats to be lovely. They are great for a couple travelling together, you can chat to each other without having to crank your neck around to talk to the person behind.

This is our only experience of UC, but having walked around the cabins thought that the forward cabin to be better of them all. Plenty of room to stand in the middle and move around, not too noisey and there is something about sitting in the front row of a plane.

Foz :o)

I do love Zone A (forward cabin) - seems almost like the upper deck for the "exclusive" feel :)

Shame I can't comment on suitability of seats for couples since I almost always travel alone (*sniff*) :D
