Hi folks,

I´m new in here so hello to everyone. This VS site is one of the best I´ve visited! :)
Anyway, I need a bit of help ...

I´m finishing high school next month and I dont think I´m going to college so I´ll be trying to get a job in a airline, and no better than Virgin Atlantic.
I would like to work in any position in the airport, so my question is if I need any college degree??? Another question is: Do I have to be 21 to work or is 18 ok?

Any other information will be helpfull and thanks very much in advance!!!

DANI :)

Welcome to Virginflyer - you may want to start here in your quest:

I don't know enough about employment law - especially in the US - to comment about age requirements. I have seen lots of young looking VS employees - but that is just a sign I am getting old:D:D

If you have specific questions about VS, there are several staffers on the board who will probably be able to assist.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the some info I got.
If I work at LHR, I will have to rent or share an apartment or a house nearby. Anyone know about prices?? Aprox prices would do me ok. I heard that they are not cheap at all but I could give it a try.
Thanks again,

Dani:)

One tip. Go south of Heathrow (Stanwell/Ashford) - it's just outside the Greater London border, so can be cheaper than north of the airport (Hanwell, Hillingdon). There's also a housing association based in Stanwell (called Airways Housing) that own and rent a huge amount of properties as far out as Slough, so worth looking them up.
