Met anyone "famous" in the clubhouses?

Kieron Dyer, Jermain Jenas and Titus Bramble (possibly one other who I didn't recognise), VS46 JFK - LHR last Friday night. That's four footballers in three days, two of whom reported for England duty on Sunday.

now the dificult thing is i am so out of touch i would not recognise all these famous people if i was sat next to them !!
any of the current movie stars i wouldnt have a clue !just have to hope if there is anyone famous it would be an old time pop star like paul mccartney , mick jagger or someone of that era

Tony Head (aka Rupert Giles in Buffy and the gold blend adverts)@ LHR UC check-in then in the clubhouse 27/08/2004 must be a regular VS PAX as the staff new him well.Think he was on the SFO flight.

Bearing in mind my login - had to get a reply on this.

While filming BuffyTVS in LA Tony 'commuted' every 4 or 5 weeks back to London - where he and his family have kept as their base. Probably explains why they know him so well.

I have seen some people on VS Flights, you see a lot more of Virgin than I ever used to with BA!

I do the LAX flight a lot VS7 and there is always some on that fight, nto sure about the later one

On a flight from LHR to JFK last October,Macauley Culkin was in UC when we were in PE!

I've never noticed anyone famous on my flights - maybe they were just incognito and unrecognisable - do they travel alone mostly, or do they have an entourage of minders/managers/PAs with them?

I've seen the journos from "Airport" (Stuart and Russell) an awful lot around LHR, but not in the VS Clubhouse oddly enough...

coming back from anu in 2000, had mel b sittin in 6a with her partner and i was in 7a!

Stood next to Virginia McKenna (Born Free etc) when collecting (TSA vadanlised) bags on return from IAD - BUT we were up the front and she wasn'r[:0]

we met joe cole at check in (when he played for west ham) in 2000
and as we were waiting to board the plane (to mco) we met kevin phillips..(southampton) we spoke to both of them lovely down to earth blokes....

None of these were Virgin Flights i`m afraid but have "met" the following while flying.

Linford Christie & the rest of the England Olympic Athletics squad, they were in BA economy while Linford was up the front in First. They were fying from Singapore - London before the Olympics in Oz. Must have been on a training session. We were sat in the row behind the team in economy for 12 hours....urgh

You mean Dennis? He was in the LHR Clubhouse last Friday having a walk round and a cup of coffee, all the staff know him and he's very pleasant!

I've met pixuk a few times at various VS events.... still won't give me a signed photo though, mumbled somethign about me having to buy another membership kit....

A friend of mine, had Jay Kay, Green Day and Matt Lucas all on his VS flight to LAX. Im sure if I met Matt Lucas I wouldnt be able to hold back the little britain impressions.... "yer i know!" It must a strange feeling, flicking through V:PORT and seeing one of your own programmes!
