Interesting - he's my 'two pennies' worth!
Dubai - have heard this before and A343 makes sense for new route development.
Sydney - yes
Mumbai/Hydrabad - I know VS want to expand to India and am sure I read somewhere recently that they are in discussions with India's Authorities. Don't VS have concerns thought about several airports' emergency facilities? I recall seeing somewhere that diversion airports for the Delhi flights are quite limited.
Seoul - Not heard this before - guess it's a growing economy and country, but I would have thought other destinations would be chosen first.
China - Again a growing country and increasingly important. I guess it could be Beijing - Olympics etc.
MAN-Delhi & Caribbean - one way of expanding services out of congested Southeast. Didn't one of the executives say that VS really missed a trick with Caribbean services following BMI's announcement?
Seychelles & Mauritius - logical; growing tourism market.
New cabin crew uniforms in 18 months - The present uniforms have just been revamped and are fairly new anyhow...aren't they?
Airbus/Boeing debate will go on and on, until the order is actually announced - guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Im all for new routes, will certainly help with earning the points, and some of those routes to me would be great!
I asked Virgin about the Dubai route about 2 months ago and i was told that while they were investigating DXB there were no motions in place to make this a new route (apparently getting the window is hard wth DXB as Emirates had problems with this)
Still, ill gladly await it and see what happens ...
Id love to know where this guy gets this info from
