Stumped?

Hi All,

I'm really suprised nobody has been able to come up with any ideas as to my Pal's predicament regarding his missing miles between VS and Delta (see my previous post) Was it something I said? [:I]. He seems to be drawing a blank from both sides, each saying the other is responsible, does anyone know who he ought to contact?

PS Thanks for your post regarding the SYD route, I will be using some of my miles on a flight there in Dec, looking forward to see how far I'll get on my mileage!

I would suggest getting something from Delta (in writing) confirming the miles cannot be added to Delta account and forwarding to VS?

If the Delta SkyMiles account number had been posted against the flight, then there's probably nothing that can be done. Once the account is applied to the flight, it gets nigh-on impossible to reverse that.

If your friend had not presented any FF account in the first place, it wouldn't be a problem to do a 'missing mileage' later with the production of the boarding passes and ticket receipt - however it sounds like it's too late for that.

Thanks for that Guys, will see what I can get sorted, they are normally very nice on the phone at VS, but it's a huge call centre somewhere in the States when you call Delta, so that could be the chalenge! Although reading the small print VS have in writing themselves that they don't credit Delta miles for their SA routes.
Yes I know, if only the small print had been read first!
