VS on Top Gear

I'm just quoting on the R75 product support pack i have from Rover when i work'd for them guess they got it wrong.

I've had menny rover's but the only reason i had them was i got good staff discount btu the engines are crap i've never known an engine to blow so menny head gasket's as the k series and the kv6 isnt much better if not just as bad and the R75 diesel well it's from a BMW.

I guess if you have a R75 diesel you have the best of both country's

I also have a tvr cerbera 4.5RR (ok i half own it with the old man) that my mate rip's the s@*t out of me for having but it's still faster than his 360 F1 and just as unrelible.

So you cant say i'm anti british but when it come's down to it if you like german or jap car's buy what you like.

The reason why he doesn't like vauxhall is because: Vauxhall are crap (apart from the VX220 which has one thing wrong with it: the griffen). Although he slammed the vauxhall astra when it first came out and then it went on to become the best selling car in britain (or was it the vectra?) Anyway, vauxhall are american owned and the cars are right hand drive versions of german cars.

and he likes plenty of british cars, TVR, jaguar, Lotus(if he could fit in them)

You'll notice that he's pissed off at how the British car industry is producing worse cars compared to the german car industry, and he's directing that anger at the fact that foriegn owned british companies are constantly pouring out with crap cars:

Vauxhall: American owned (GM)
Ford: American owned (ford)
Rover: British owned (all the designs are german though)
Mini: German owned (Clarkson knows this is a good good, and he shows it)

Now, take the nissan micra, the whole top gear team recognise that this is a great car: where is it built? Sunderland. 100% british built.

I take it none of you watched the inventions that changed the world documentaries?
