vs200 and online checkin

just logged onto virgin to see if the plane is the suite on my flight and i put booking ref and surname and the flight number doesn't exist anymore there was no VS200? why is this has the number changed for the SYDNEY route weird!

ALSO WHERE IS THE ONLINE CHECKIN OPTION ON THE WEBSITE I CANT SEE IT[8D]

From main VS page, click 'Booking' then 'DIY Check in'
VS200 is also not on the flight number list for online check-in either.

There clearly appear to be problems with the SYD flight on the VS webiste.

Any answers / speculation / solutions to this thread please:)

also the ability to book this flight to Sydney has disapeared i check everyday to make sure the price i got my flight for does not go down - lol (maybe ive use it too much and broken it)

Hi British, my rule of thumb is once I've booked it I never re-check the price, it's too depressing if there is a sudden large reduction [V]

VS200 & VS201 are also missing from the check flights section!

Was wanting to confirm my upgrade and seat allocation, but the flight numbers have done a runner....

I got a feeling that this route was never FULLY approved (by the HKG government) Maybe VS finally got a warning from HKG and removed the route until they get the full approval.

Here in SYD, absolutely NO NEWS as yet!

no i don't normally do this but I can't help it - I have been checking flights to Sydney (with others airlines) since the beggining of the year and patiently waiting for Virgin, both for the miles I'll earn and the service I receive.

Well I'm going now and can't wait!!

First public flight to SYD (well technically HKG-SYD) is 7th December, and as it stands at the moment there is quite a bit of reward availability.
