RTOFLMFAO - did you see the cars go? :D

For those that didn't get to see, it was G-VAST (Ladbybird - I was on her last Monday :)), and they released a Mondeo and a 2CV 50yards behind the engines on full blast - both were turned over & catapulted a long way down the runway - LOL

Some great shots of the interior, and a nice bit about the IFBT. Interesting fact that if the engines were on full power with the plane being stationary for more than 20 seconds they'd rip up the runway! [:0]

A good plug for VS methinks :)

Cheers

A very nice advert for VS I must say! Economy, UCS, and Massage Area shots, as well as the outside.

Also a good article about the power of a Jumbo Jet.. Very impressive.

Annoyingly, i returned from Portsmouth today just in time to completely miss it! And it's not repeated on any of the other BBC channels it seems - so I'm miffed [:(].

And that's the first time i've had to use that smiley on here. :)

I was intrigued that they blanked out the name and tail in some shots but not others!

Perhaps they're only allowed so much free publicity!!!!:D

Great section though and publicity for VS

Good publicity and great fun! Anyone know if the IFBT was a genuine VS staffer or an actor, she certainly looked genuine to me! ;)

They were showing the one where Wogan was a guest the other day. Not sure exactly how long ago that was originally on - about a month I think?

Terry Wogan was on 13th June, but it's been off air for the past few weeks because of Euro 2003, Wimbledon etc, so it could be shown v. soon on UKTV.

Clarksons on "Inventions that changed the world" on BBC 2 at t5he moment, some nice pictures of VS plane, had a go at animal protestors who object to veal calfs in small pens where they can turn around to grrom themselves, but they themselves stuff into econ seats where there is no way of moving :D

I saw it last night thanks to my Sky+ box recording anytime that Top Gear is on any of the channels:)

Very good piece for VS!

Did like the snippet about them only been able to keep the engines on full power for 20 seconds otherwise it could rip the asphalt off the runway!

Thanks,
Richard
