I read the threads re this but thought of an additional question(s):D

I noticed on the VS Website that Lyon is still available dispite no flights being available!

Has anyone ever booked an AF codeshare?

Flights VS9903,VS9905,VS9909 Out and
VS9902,VS9904,VS9908 back.

FC T&C's say that the clubhouse is available to any AU member flying on a VS flight number [?]

that means I could hang out in the clubhousde for the price of a Lyon fare?

or have I missed some small print!![?]

AF leaves from T2

VS from T3

wouldnt you have a vs boarding card?
ie wouldn't check in be at t3?

i thought a codeshare has ticketing from the airline you bought the ticket from in this case vs?

I think the issue here is it's against BAA regs to use a lounge at a different terminal from the one you depart from - this has come up recently on the BA FT forum where someone tried to use the BA FIRST lounge at T4 rather than the AA Flagship lounge in T3:

Well theres a kind of logic to it I guess
Rules @ BAA are set to the lowest common denominator!

Yep - i think one of BAA's concerns is keeping the shops happy. They wouldn't like it if the high-spending premium pax who use lounges (allow me some leeway on that broad claim :)) went off to a different terminal becuase there's a better lounge there.

jonathan the flight to LYON are a codeshare with AF.

This means the flight has a VS and AF prefix however are operated by AF this means AF will check you in at T2.

It does not make sense you check in at T3 then walk to T2 for your flight.

Take the VS flight to Kuala Lumpar, the flight has MH and VS prefix but is operated by Malaysian airlines. You check in with MH not VS.

Same with Delhi flights with a codeshare from AI. and CO flights to the US from LHR. Many pax book with a CO flight number with a flight operated by Virgin. However the pax will only come into contact with virgin staff and virgin aircraft.

Hope this helps.

Sorry no clubhouse for you!

Yeah the BAA rules stop Terminal hopping!!

but I'm right in thinging that if AF was T3 I would have clubhouse access due to the VS flight no[?]
