UNHAPPY WITH FLYING CLUB!!

CHECKED MY ONLINE BALANCE LASTNIGHT AND I AM 20K OVERDRAWN AND 6 TIER POINTS REMOVED !!! I WAS SO UNHAPPY AS I AM UNABLE TO RETAIN GOLD WITHOUT ANOTHER TRIP SOON,

I SPOKE TO THEM AND THEY SAID I HAVE HAD MILES FOR A MATES TICKET? WASN'T AWARE YOU CANT GET MILES, THEY PUT THEM THERE AND THEY HAVE TAKEN THEM OFF FROM UP TO 2 YEARS AGO!!!
THEY NEVER LET ME KNOW AND THE LADY SAID SHE WASN'T BOTHERED IF YOU WENT TO ANOTHER AIRLINE, THAT ISN'T GOOD!!! [:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!]

From what you say, I'm not surprised you aren't happy. Have you tries phoning and asking to speak to someone more senior or writing to them? Quite apart from anything else, given that tier points 'die' after a year, I can't see why they should debit points mistakenly credited that long ago.

I agree. If you had the TPS credited 2 years ago, then they should have already expired by now and been removed, so how can they remove them again?. Anyway, they helped you qualify for gold, so you got good value from them, for nothing.
The miles are a different matter. If they were mistakenly credited and are now being removed, what's the beef? Also, excessive shouting makes me sceptical of the last sentence.

If you have had tps and mileage credited to your account from someone elses travel you must have known you were on thin ice.

Never heard of a 2 yr correction before!

I'd call back and ask why TP's from 2 yrs ago have any bearing on your current status?

Say if there has been any errors with TP/milage on your account they were not done by you and if these are from 2yrs ago they shouldn't affect you current status.

When myself and a mate went to LAX we were OPUG to UC and he had j class points put on to his account where i had point from a w class ticket credited to my accout.
We ask'd Fc about what was going on and they said they had been put on his account in error and they cant remove them as it's there fault.
