I know that we've previously discussed ways to stop miles expiring if there's not been any mileage activity in 3 years, and the usual answer is to order a case of wine/do a mileage tip from Amex/etc... but I just noticed something a little different today.

I upgraded a PE fare that I've booked for Xmas Eve to UC with miles - of course, FC debited my account with the mileage upgrade immediately, but they entered it with the future date of travel. So, my miles are not now going to expire until 24th December 2007 (not that they were in any danger of expiry, but you get my meaning....;))

Just another way.....:)

Cheers

Aye, I'm not particularly concerned about my miles expiring either, just thought it was another option for those in that "danger zone" :D

Not so sure about the guru tag [:I], but you learn something new every day ;)

You are absolutely right about learning something new every day and both you and Mcuth are up there at the top with him IMHO.

Whats makes this site so good is that everyone is willing to share knowledge.
