Clubhouses?!?

As i am procrasinating here i though i would ask you all some questionas about the Clubhouses!

How often does everyone get to the clubhouse before the flight?

What are your things you like to do when in the clubhouse?

( What do poeple think of the SFO clubhouse?)

What is your favourite Clubhouse?

Have you seen any celebrites in the club house or in UC?

I saw Richard Williams (William sisters father) flying to Miami last year on finals day when both his daughters were playing each other!!

OMG i never knew there were showers at the LHR Clubhouse!?! Where are they as i will use them on my SFO flight before i go!

Hi,

The showers are in the same area as the gents toilets ( just to the left ( I think) of the vtouch salon.

How often does everyone get to the clubhouse before the flight?
Every time. I usually fly J class (my firm pays), and the limos have always got me there in plenty of time for at least a couple of drinks. Traffic and the one-hour call for boarding at JFK T4 has cut in to my time once or twice though.

What are your things you like to do when in the clubhouse?
LHR: Hair cut. Drink lots of juice and / or sparkling water. Eat something light (depending on flight time and my plans for what I want to do on the a/c), use the PCs.
JFK: Shower if there's time; I like to wash Manhattan out of my hair. Eat dinner (I'm a snooze zone user if there is space). Ben and Jerry's. Use the PCs (V-Flyer works with their I-Macs).

What is your favourite Clubhouse?
JFK (from a choice of LHR, LGW and JFK). I like the mix of menu and self service food and drink, plus Ben and Jerry's. The only slight downside is how open it feels to the rest of the terminal, though this is more a feature of the building than the clubhouse itself.

Have you seen any celebrites in the club house or in UC?
Tom Stoppard in the lounge and one row behind me on the a/c, Sol Campbell on VS045 in May - he must be an early riser, Kieron Dyer, Jermaine Jenas, Titus Bramble all on VS046, also in May.

I get in a clubhouse every time I fly VS, either by AU card or with a D,Z or reward ticket.

I enjoy drinking lots of champagne:D mrs jag always has her hair cut(LHR/LGW) but mostly just soaking up the atmosphere in a very pleasant space.

JFK is fantastic, SFO brilliant and probably has the most attentive staff anywhere.I also like IAD,LGW & LHR(floor staff have greatly improved recently)

We usually get there 3 hours before the flight, plenty of time to enjoy the Clubhouse, have a few drinks and a general look around, as well as having something to eat.

Eating, drinking and plane spotting. I also take that time to fill in the VWF's and check out todays paper or something.
