'Free' Companion Ticket cost me a mile!

Just recieved my latest statement and was surprised to see that my free companion ticket (for Gold renewal) actually came out as a cost of 1 mile.

I'm not complaining for 1 mile but I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar charge or this a 'personal' honour.

Our accounts have both just renewed comp ticket is there and no debit of a mile you must have got lucky.

I hadnt been debited with a mile either ... maybe its a new thing?? Id ask FC or MBNA what was going on if i were you?
