Heh, I'm off to LAX on the 2nd but as a lowly Silver Card holder I could only peer in through the windows to the Clubhouse looking sad! ;)

Silly question but I had always assumed that to be a guest in the clubhouse you needed to be on the same flight as the Au card holder. No reason for assuming this - just never had cause to think otherwise.
Any thoughts?

Ah, nice thought in asking nicely for a guest invite but alas, I fly at noon and I think the HKG flight goes much, much later! :)

I believe that guests have to flying on a VS flight that day, but not necessarily on the same flight as their host. (Although they obviously both need to be physically present together for at least part of the time, which rules out the flights at opposite ends of the day situation, unless someone is planning on arriving really early!)
