Mr Ridgeway looked quite shifty on it I thought, he needs to control his eyes more when on TV, and pretend to be listening to what's being said, whilst not appearing to be colluding with BA.

WW might come across better because he actually has an airline background. Not saying he's Mr Popular with BA staff (though SR not top of many VS staffers Xmas card list either!!), but he must be getting something right.

I find there's something a bit used car salesman about Steve Ridgway, especially compared to WW sat next to him in his natty suit and neat hair.

However, they both made cogent comments, but WW's point about the amount of fuel wasted due to holding was the real killer, and I notice this argument was used later by SRB when he took an interview on the same subject.

However the Bearded One's comments were less accurate, saying he was 'circling for two hours' - SRB really needs better briefing and ensuring he gets his facts straight, as he's starting to sound quite silly, like he knows nothing about the industries he owns a share of.

I doubt VS (or any sensible airline) load 2 hours worth of holding fuel? I'd guess about 40-60 minutes is the normal holding fuel to load for flights to LHR.
