For a bit of a change - Hello From HKG Clubhouse

Hong Kong. What a place! Genuinely sad to be moving on, and Sydney now has an awful lot to live up to.

The VS200 came in about 20 mins ago, and we were expecting to be inundated (having been the only folk in here, more or less, for the previous hour) but it ain't too bad.

Nice Clubhouse; had a very pleasant pastrami sarnie and a very unpleasant visit to the 'smoking room'. I'm now enjoying a mojito, the-now Mrs mdvipond another glass of champers and mdvipond jr. is partaking of apple juice and Balamory.

Not long before boarding. Knackered already. Thank goodness my bed is waiting for me...

Fear not Australia will be awesome!. On the return leg I'd suggest bagging one of the showers as soon as you decamp to the CH for the brief stop (the cloak staff are really helpful). Having a quick shower made me feel vaguely human before the onward journey back to LHR.
