VX just announced that Seattle, as predicted, will become the next VX base.

Routes and frequency are as follows:

SEA-LAX 3 x daily
SEA-SFO 3 x daily

Flights commence 18th March 2008.

Great to see VX spreading its wings furhter- if the predicitons are correct MIA will be the next base to be announced.

Route map already updated click here

Current stations for VX are: SFO, LAX, IAD, JFK and SAN.

I have only one thing to say about this: [:D][^][^][^][^][:X]

I'd have already known, if I'd checked my email first thing instead of V-flyer... [:I]

Yeh although a lot of competition for VX to deal with, AS, UA and AA plus SWA to the bay area.

You can call them competition all you want, but after flying cr@p US airlines on the West Coast for what seems like forever, I'm going to jump ship onto any VX I can get on, thank you! First-class seats and decent service always gets the extra dollar from me.

I will edit and add that of the legacy airlines, only Alaska has done a good job of getting me and mine where I needed to go. They're good, but VX is just better.

Egad. Southwest. I haven't flown with them in... oh, never mind... my sardine days are o-v-e-r...

I understood that it was the SEA-SFO flights that were starting on March 18th and the SEA-LAX were starting on April 8th with a fourth daily flight to/from LAX on May 11th
