Hi everyone, im new to V-flyer, site is very intresting and useful.
I am intrested in VS and hoping to pursue a career as Cabin Crew.
On my return flight from MCO to LGW back in December we had a few turbulant times, and i took this opportunity to talk to the FSM?
(She had a Black Shirt on and was doing the announcments); about joining VS for a career, she was very helpful and gave me lots of pointers and wished me good luck. She mention that i sould go onto iFly; and this will give me all the info and current vacancies with VS that i would need to know. I have been searching for iFly on the Web and cant find it anywhere, so im guessing its a internal website for VS staff?? If anyone could confirm this for me i would be gratful.

Happy New year to all![:D]

Yes, iFly is an internal website, accessible only to VS employees.

However, Virgin-Atlantic.com has its own vacancies page which is not exactly tough to find [;)]

I should think a great deal of difference, but more confidential stuff that you would only be able to access as an employee. Perhaps the FSM was unaware that iFly could not be accessed outside of the VS network?

There are other Web forums where aspirant crew post information and others provide help - they may not always be accurate to best to take what's said with caution.

Good luck in your career!

You used to be able to access ifly via http://www.iflyvirginatlantic.com but this now redirects to the main VA website. I only know this because I had the now defunct link in my favourites list.

There is a VS section on the PPRUNE website. http://www.pprune.org.uk/ Follow the links to cabin crew for more information on VS and other airlines

I would say thatCabin Crew is a good website for info regarding applications and interviews etc, the people on there are probably more 'in the know' about the way to apply, prepare etc than most of us on here.
