Smoking in LHR T3 Clubhouse?

We are off to CPT later this month and having failed to kick the weed i wondered if there are smoking facilities in the Clubhouse? i know there is a ban everywhere but in the Garden/outside area?[V][V][V]

Sorry, but you'll need to get your fix in the designated area Landside. Smoking anywhere airside is now banned including the Garden.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh[:0] and my fellow passengers want to get there early for a few treatments! hey ho life[:?]

Simple - all check in together, then let them go through security for their treatments while you stand outside the front of the airport enjoying a couple of fags.

As Darren says, you can now only smoke outside the terminal buildings.

You can, however, get back landside from the T3 departure lounge by back-tracking though the T3 transfer area which is located in the far corner, going though UK immigration/arrivals/baggage claim to get back landside. You will then have to go back though the normal security to get back to the departure lounge/Clubhouse.

You will need your passport and boarding card to do this and it can take upto an hour at busy times.

Worth it for a quick drag, and to meet a few new people in the social hot house that the outside of all our public buildings has become.

I can see no reason why not. They might question why they have seen you twice though so have a word first time.
