Nope - I still prefer them too[:D].They seem a bit more 'real' and certainly feel nicer in the hand than bits of flimsy paper that have spewed out of the printer.

I beg to differ we have received our tickets today for our upcoming holiday with VH and they are (proper) paper tickets, but I will quantify that buy saying that our holiday is to Mexico which means we fly LHR-MIA-CUN and return, so as we have flights with VS and AA maybe thats why we have (proper) tickets

I am sure I read somewhere that IATA have demanded that all carriers switch to E tickets by the middle of this year, cant find a source though.

One thing I have noticed is this E Ticket does not show the fair letter your booked into like the old tickets did.

We're in the midst of converting to e-ticketing. Certain routes and itineraries are all set and are being e-ticketed, with more being added all the time to bring us in line with other airlines and tour operators :)

IATA's target for 100% global e-ticketing is by the end of May 2008.
