Hi all,

For various reasons, I'm looking at booking HKG-SYD return with Virgin. I'll be travelling to HKG via either Emirates or Cathay.

On the Virgin website, I can only book these tickets with a HKG credit card, and if I try to pay with miles, the taxes still require a HKG credit card.

Is the only way to book this ticket via FC helpline????

Cheers YS

I have this problem all the time. Bookings can only be made via the website with a credit card whose billing address is the same as that of the country of departure. I therefore have to call VS any time I wish to make a booking, so yes, it would be via FC if you are using miles

I've just done this routing with the initial flights with BA!

You have to call up, used to be the same problem with BA before finance allowed Marketing to have their way. It has something to do with security of the card via online
