It came through the post yesterday and there's no big surprises inside. The new card and luggage tag came fixed on a silver card and look delightful, but there's no extra luggage strap unfortunately.

Two more HEX and GEX upgrade vouchers, each, and they look a bit glossier this time [:0]:)

And the silver bag it all came in was pleasing too.

Very little to report as you might have realised. ;). Orlando trip this Xmas will renew it again for another year, and leave me just 19 away from Gold. I don't see me getting them though, more's the pity! What's the Gold pack like then? I like to dream.:D

Same here - just received my pack and it's pleasing to the eye! Orlando for Xmas/New Year in the new UCS will guarantee me silver for another year, while my wife who joined after me still languishes in red!!

Ian, we have somehow managed to synchronise our Flying Club years and book identical flights, all without prior collusion!

My Gold pack came the day of the last social (so my memory is a little jaded :D) - ISTR that it was in a nice Gold envelope which contained: membership card, 2 x luggage tags (+straps), a welcome letter, SSA application form, 5 x LHEX & 5 x LGEX upgrade vouchers (now got 7 of each since I already had 2 of each from the silver renewal the month before!) :)

Cheers

It's all quite tantalising really, i dunno why I asked, cos I'm only upsetting myself thinking about it!:)

I have to wonder about that SSA - I bet a lot of the time the SSA holder would be travelling with the Gold holder, and so gain nothing from it (apart from the luggage tag i suppose!). Of course I still want it and all the other goodies!

I think the SSA is ok if you have someone from the same household that can earn miles too (whether or not that's with the gold card holder) - easier to combine the miles from both accounts for a reward :) Shame I've no-one to give it to [:(]

I got my AU renewal pack on Friday so my memory is a bit sharper!!

To be fair I got the same as mike - except he got luggage straps and I got a free companion ticket:D

The other thing is the card the Gold card is stuck too - it says loads of things about how great and exclusive gold is finishing up with "We Give you Flying Flub Gold"

And no one has mentione dyet that Ag's only get one luggage tagm whilst Au's get two as std?

Not that two is enough - our baggage handling chums love ripping these tags off cases (or did we establish it was pix taking my tags? :))

Thanks,
Richard
