Hadn't spotted that in the T's and C's before, anteo, and have to say that's HARSH. [n]

Extremely harsh, not only would I have expected the miles to be refunded but also a refund in fare between the flexible ticket purchased and a non flex ticket in the same class.

For instance, if I am paying to fly, I fly PE. When I use miles to upgrade I buy the Y,B,L fare. I would never otherwise buy an economy ticket. If I were forced into an economy cabin on another airline I would not expect to have to pay the same or very similar £ as I would have paid for a PE fare.

Anyone know where GVSUN is right now? Has it been repaired? Flying to BOM tonight and hoping it's not be assigned that route.

Thanks,
Darren

That may well be the understatement of the year...It would be interesting to hear what VS has to say about this, yes I know it's covered in the T & C's , however, at least for me, no refund of miles= no more flights on that airline.

Hi Darren,

G-VSUN is back in service and is currently operating NBO-LHR. She's scheduled to get back at LHR at 16:03 this afternoon.

Tonight's BOM still shows a A343 UCS config at present. J has every seat allocated currently.

I would be very suprised if you get G-VSUN as I don't think the same number of J seats are available on the old config as per the A343's with new UCS config. [:)]

Good news on the plane :) Bad news on J being full as I was hoping to upgrade with air miles.

Cheers for the info,
Darren

I think G-VSUN has more Upper Class seats than the other -300's. I can't recall how many are in A Zone but B Zone on most 300's holds 9 people, on SUN it holds 12.

My apologies, your correct.

UCS - 34J Zone A 25 suites and Zone B 9 suites.

UC - 40J Zone A 28 seats and Zone B 12 seats.

Well I guess if you ask at Checkin and they say there are 6 J left you'll know your answer [}:)] or maybe [:0]
