Manchester to MCO

I've just phoned the Flying Club to check availability of Economy seats that can be upgraded to Premium in Jan 2009 using 20000 miles. The price they quoted was about 637 for an L seat. Is this as cheap as it gets or has anyone got it cheaper at this time of the year? (Jan/Feb)

Depends on what fare code they have quoted you (Y,B Or L). I imagine at that time of year you wouldn't be paying too much more for a K (cheapest PE fare) which would probably make more sense.

Have you got the dates? Bearing in mind ~£200 of the fare is taxes/fees then that seems about right for an L.

Just checked for you with my noble calculator assistant Neil - you'll be better off buying a S and using 30k to companion.

L is 426+tax (+20kmiles each + additional £40APD)
K is 606+tax
S is 808+tax (+30k + tax for 2nd person)
