Its been announced that we will operate 3 additional BGI and 3 additional MBJ flights using the additional A340-300 a/c we are getting. The new BGI route will be VS57/58 starting on the 20/12/08 departing LGW at 1440 arriving BGI 1945 and departing BGI at 2215 arriving LGW at 1045. The Additional MBJ will be the same flight number and timings as the MBJ now.

Config at the mo is 34/35/171

Thanks for the info VITB.

No surprise that VS are adding additional flights on these routes, especially MBJ. I would have liked to have seen MBJ ex MAN, and I hoped VS would beef up their flights out of MAN with this extra a/c but it is obviously not on the agenda at the moment. LGW is a long way from the North and it really does put me off having to fly out of there.

Hi, that was discussed here. It is expected to be A6-EYC from EY owned by Boeing Leasing.
