Clubhouse at LGW

Hi all,

I know that the clubhouse is been expanded at Heathrow. Is anyone aware of any changes/upgrades/expansion that is planned.

Also are you allowed to pay for additional treatments in V Touch after your one free one ??? If so does anyone have prices ???

Not aware of any planned expansion at LGW and you cannot pay for treatments, additional or other wise.

I cant answer your first point..

To answer your second question however there usually isnt time for more than one treatment as demand is quite high most days

I have never seen them not busy!

I doubt they'd be happy to book more than one treatment unless they were exceptionally quiet! - Most LGW Flights are away by 13:00 so theres not much time to give people treatments.

I'm not sure if V-touch is open in the evenings now virgin operate a 23:30 flight to Port Harcourt, since thats the only VS Flight operating that late I guess they wont be as busy!

I'm sure that some pax at gatwick do pay for treatments..
At check in they sometimes offer the clubhouse for £25..but do say treatments cost extra..I have heard people on this forum say they have an old CC machine (you know the crunk crunk kind that makes a card impression..) but no cash facilities..

I'll call them up later and get an update though as im not 100%

Ok just spoke to the lovely Leanne at the Gatwick Clubhouse!

Heres the deal:

You can pay for additional treatments (they are all in the £10-20) range.

She did say however that UC/Gold pax get priority so its very rare they have time to do this!

So the reality is you can have extra treatments but there usually isnt time!

When you pay £1m/year in ground rent for the facility, and more routes are launching.....

Well I stand (sit actually) corrected, I thought it was reported here that you could not pay, or was it at LHR that you cannot pay?
