Hi Guys,

I'm planning a reward flight SFO-LHR. My friend, on a revenue fare, wants to go with Continental rather than fly with me because it's cheaper. Looking at the Continental website today suggested that he would actually be on the same flight as me. Can anybody confirm whether or not Continental's SFO-LHR flight is Virgin metal?

My second question is if it turned out we were on the same plane, and I've booked myself into Upper through Virgin and he's booked himself into Y through Continental, could he come into the clubhouse with me?

Thanks a lot!

According to the CO website:

Continental flight 8240 operated by Virgin Atlantic Airways.

so the answer to your first question is yes.

With regard to the Clubhouse, UC passengers are allowed to bring one guest in with them but they must be on a VS flight, i.e., with a VS number. I don't know what the situation is if they have a CO number and I think would depend on the management of the SFO Clubhouse
