Hey everyone

Can you help... Virgin Blue (VA's Oz Partner) have advised that I don't book directly through their website but instead book via Flying Club in the UK as i will get an increased luggage allowance... anyone heard of this before and is it true [?]

Thanks for your help!

Hmmm - does this pan?

There are two scenarios here - and I assume you are looking at a travel plan within Australia to Sydney then to the UK:

1. you are booking VBlue to Sydney then separately booking VS to the UK (or Hong Kong)
2. you are booking the whole trip as one itinerary

If the latter, then potentially yes - if you make the reservation in one, i.e. book your internal flights and the international flights together on the same reservation, then you get the highest baggage allowance of all the flights, and if this VS internationally then it would hold true but only if the allowance is higher than VBlue within Australia????
