There does appear some good news for those wanting beauty treatments after the on board facility was recently cancelled.

Four of us are UC on VS045 to JFK 14 Jun and just booked beauty treatments at the LHR Clubhouse. Nothing unusual in that but the four treatments (one for each of us) have been booked at the same time. Normally to get two treatments coinciding would be a result - but 4 - WOW [^]

Obviously the extra staff on the ground means more flexibility and an even better experience.

The IFBT team haven't given their answers yet, I think you may just have been lucky as perhaps Cowshed have added a few more therapists to their quota in advance.

And some other good news... the 8 week ruling seems to have been relaxed as well guys [;)]

Just booked my treatment via email to the Cowshed at LHR CH and got confirmation back for my flight in September... just thought you might want to know!!!

What is the eight week ruling?

FWIW I have booked a strim well in advance on two occasions over the phone this year and both appointments got lost. I still received a mowing, but I just wonder what the point of booking is if the appointments are lost.

Yup we experienced the lost booking too - luckily I'd printed out the confirmation as otherwise they weren't going to back down.

On the VA website and if you call VA UC Reservations they both tell you that you cannot book a treatment at the CH until 8 weeks before departure.

Interestingly when I then did that got the last appointment to fit in with flying to ORD and my folks missed out.

Thanks for the tip about printing out the confirmation as well - worrying that things get lost!!

Thanks, i have already submitted this form via VA, will try again.

We fly at 09.20, so not much time to fit treatments in. We will be called at around 8.30ish

Thanks

My understanding is that they open treatments same time as the CH so you should be a ok for treatments
