OH DEAR

any one here going on the lgw-moc vs027 on 15th november ?

i really really hope not

i have just been talking to special assistance at virgin holidays

i was told at the start of this thread that the plane on gfor that flight was a new suite plane --great celebrations from us .
today VH told me that the plane has been changed
and to make things worse it has been changed because of my party.
[:(][:(][:(][:(]
my little girl is severly disabled and is having to have the special support seat inside her plane seat and these cannot as yet be fitted into the uc suites.
there are adaptions being made but as of yet they are not ready.
the lady spoke to virgin atlantic about hte problem that we now had (that i personally did not know we had ) and they said the easy solution was to switch the plane !!
she said she was stunned she did not know she had that much power !

so disapointment we will now not be flying the new UC suites

and to anyone else on that flight so so sorry --but to anyone on the other flight that day i suppose we have switched planes with you so you owe me a drink !!!

Hi Steve,

The most important thing is that your daughter is as comfortable as possible. I know that it must be a disappointment that you will no longer be flying the new UC suites, but I do think that it is really nice of Special Assistance to do so much, they must really care. IÕm sure that the crew will really go out of their way to take care of you.
Have a great holiday!

yes it does make us feel that virgin will do their best to help
TBH it would have been easier to move us to the other flight
on the same day .
i was also impressed that my holiday advisor took the trouble to
contact us near to the holiday to make sure we were happy with
everythnig .
there was one thing she was not completly happy with so she said
she would be checking it out tomorrow and then calling me again
on friday. if the service on the planes is anywhere near as good
we will be over the moon
