However, while this certainly applies to J fare pax using drive through check in, it doesn't explictly state whether the 40mins applies to all UC / Au pax using terminal check in but I am assuming it does ... ?

I would assume so too, as the Drive Thru thing is a bit of a special case, and you're at the mercy of the traffic (so I'm sure Tristar wouldn't be recommending cutting that fine anyway).

I wonder if thats to encourage less time in the CH which will save on food and drink, im with Iffores 6 hours minimum for me.

Virgin Atlantic has introduced a new 40-minute minimum check in time for its Upper Class passengers offering them the fastest journey through an airport in the UK


Except LCY of course, which is 15 minutes with no baggage, 20 mins with.

I guess this does offer an added degree of flexibility but, for me, CH time remains 'prime time'.

40 Mins CDC drive through - good news. I.E. More time in the office or at home so it gets my vote.
