Hello, anyone out there who may have the '1. Welcome on board, after take off, descent, landed, disembark' cabin crew PA announcements from any Virgin Atlantic flight let us know. Trying to get real onboard recordings of these announcments to add to Virgin Atlantic Virtual Airline for Microsoft Flight Simulator Virtual Pilots and Crew.[^][:I]
Thanks?

Ummm, no idea. But as all electronic equipment SHOULD be switched off during take-off and landing, some of those might be a bit tricky to get.

Good point, Darren!

To ensure you aren't hit with a copyright infringement action you may want to make your request directly to VS.

Oh sure, the recordings would be used personally locally for my flights so won't worry about Copy right, and I just thought that since they were so many flights on You Tube with takeoff and landings that some recordings might be out there with after takeoff and welcome on boards that sort of thing, but yea I think you're right as most electronic equipment should be off. What i think I'll do if no one can help though is make a recording myself my next flight and put it up on You Tube, so others who are looking can have access too.

And with that, I refer you back to Darren Wheeler's post above.[}:)]

Why not beg one of the CC on here to record the announcements for you personally :)

Same rules on electronic devices apply,

I guess no one on flightlevel350.com cares about the rules. I'd try there. I know some of the videos (including a VS one I think) capture the arrival speech, but you might be able to find a few that have the departure one.

Er yes. I didn't explain myself properly ;)
Whilst I'm sure it may sometimes feel like it to our esteemed CC associates, I'm sure they don't liveon board Virgin Atlantic planes.
They have voices.
And computers, presumably at least one of which will be a laptop with a built in microphone.
And they will know the announcements back to front.
So ... beg one of them to record the announcements. :)

No harm in asking, but you'll get some very strange looks.....

'Excuse me. Would you mind going away and recording the take-off and landing announcements? Then send them to me so I can use them in my flight simulator'

I'm really not explaining myself, am I.
I meant, beg a favour from someone on here to make a recording at their home computer - not while on board a plane - and email them to you.
Oh forget it. I was only really making a silly comment/flippant idea. There seems to have been a total communcation/sense of humour melt down.

Just communications I suspect. Now you've outlined your plan in greater detail it makes more sense :)
