Kittymins.

If you look in the Format section of a posting there is an icon for insert image.

It will give you the correct formatting to put the 'picture' in

It should look like this (replace the curly brackets with square ones)

{img}put the link of the photo here{/img}

The photo will need to be on an accessible web site like Flikr, you need to call up the 'properties' of the photo and cut and paste the full link to the photo.

Hopefully that's understandable...

You will have such a great time in the CH, I spent over 8 hours in there on my own and had a great time. I sat and ate while being on VF at one of the laptops, had a treatment, sat at the bar and chatted to the bar staff! It was amazing how quickly the time flew by!

As others have said, wear whatever you feel comfortable. I love sitting at bar for some of the flight, nice to while away a few hours chatting to crew and pax, often they have Hello/OK to catch up on celeb goss! [xx(]

Have a great time in SYD, it is amazing and coming in by the bridge and seeing the Opera House is one of the best approaches ever! Oh I miss home now.......[:#]

Following on from other comments regarding PJs, I request them immediately on boarding, and change into them before takeoff while the Champagne's coming around. Order Champagne and PJs at the same time, you don't want to get changed only to find you're waiting for a drink!

Also, changing directly on boarding guarantees you definitely won't have to wait for a loo.

I find Virgin UC are better the BA F regarding the distribution of PJs on the ground. On BA they seem to like to do this element of the service in their own time whether there's two of you or fourteen in the cabin. VS will give you the PJs almost on demand.

On the LHR-SYD route personally I absolutely would bring a change of clothes and head for the HKG CH and ask for a shower, especially as you'll have already been in the same clothes for some hours having travelled from Ireland. The HKG showers are much smaller than the LHR ones by the way, so don't expect to take your cat on board and expect to swing it.

(I must admit, I love the hot tub at LHR, so invariably will take a dip in me cozzy followed be a shower there too.)

Arrival into SYD unforunately is during rush hour arrivals at the international terminal, so be prepared for a delay at immigration, and you'll find it rather warmer and somewhat more humid than the crisp winter's day when you left. Not nice if you're still wearing the same clothes from 30+ hours earlier.

It's all been covered so I will only add that I like to grab a lounge chair on the balcony overlooking the airport in HKG CH. They are very relaxing and I enjoy the feeling of light and space after being in the plane for so long. The staff are excellent and very organised re: the showers - if you order a drink/food and tell them where you want to sit they will have it all ready for you when you get out. I usually do this trip alone and have never had a problem so don't worry.

Have a great time and may the champagne stay on tap for you throughout the flight.

Thanks Howard, was thinking about taking clothes for landing too as it will be totally different to here!

What the score if you change into your PJ's and then go sit at the bar later....weird or does no one give a flying fajita??

Great Tip Jacki, will hit the shower first then take it from there, is it best to eat at HK rather than on board?

Thx!

I usually have a light meal in the CH and then try to sleep as much on the plane as possible before they serve breakfast just before landing. When I get off the plane I try and stay awake for as long as possible to minimise the jetlag.
