Well as long as they don't use a LHR aircraft which is highly unlikely then your chances are 5 out of 8 as there are 3 non Alitalia
aircraft in the LGW/MAN fleet[:D]

Just to lay this to rest for those traveling out of LGW.

The Alitalia aircraft are fine, they are some off the newest aircraft in the fleet.

No they do not have V-Port, they have the normal in seat IFE.

The postings today on facebook by the members of staff was at best regrettable and at worst just plain stupid.

Personally I have flown on these aircraft many times and would have no issue doing so again in the future.

Please don't let the actions of some people affect your trip.

Another vote from me as a mostly B&S user, these aircraft are fine. Just a note of warning, avoid seat 23j,h,k if possible[:D]

Though at least with 23 HJK you get DVD players so you can stop and start movies when you like instead of having to wait for the next cycle of movies to start. And if you need to go to the loo then you can pause your movie. Only downside is the movies aren't as up to date as the IFE.
I love these a/c, would rather fly on them than the airbuses any day, 747 just has so much more room and feeling of space than the 343 or 346. Also they are crew friendly to work on.
Hope you have a fantastic holiday whichever a/c you are on.

JJ - If some people are daft and stupid enough to make these posts on a public website in the first place I wouldn't give too much credence to their opinions on aircraft safety!

Here, Here.[y]

Spurs Fan[:o)]...Good Luck mate, it looks very bleak for them at present? Watched the game on TV last night and they are a troubled side, what do you think they need to do to get away from the bottom of the Premiership? And sacking the manager is not an option at this stage!?
