Welcome to V-flyer
There really is no way of knowing which IFE system will be on your flight, other than it will be either Nova+ or Odyssey. After that it will really be up to whatever plane is assigned to that route. This information is not released beforehand for security purposes and indeed there may be last minute aircraft changes for a variety of reasons
Welcome to V-Flyer
At the risk of stating the obvious, it will depend which aircraft you are on.
Details of the IFE for each plane in the Virgin fleet can be found here.
The chances are that, unless you are very lucky, you will get one of the Gatwick fleet, but for security reasons, VS don't release details of exactly which plane you will be on before you fly.

At the moment it's showing as beig one of the NOVA a/c for VS 27 on 07/11 as capacity in Y is 379 (Instead of 380 as with the Odyssey a/c)
Of course this could change nearer the time due to operational reasons.

The seat map in the 'manage my booking' section of the VS site should also give you an idea of which a/c type you are currently scheduled to be on (and if it changes). The small Economy behind the PE downstairs cabin is only 2 rows on the a/c fitted with Nova IFE (LIP/GAL/ROY/ROM/ROS) where as it is 4 rows on the Odyseey IFE a/c (AST/TOP/XLG).

That would be the 2 rows. In the middle 4 seats there are 3 rows but on each side there are only 2. If you have a look in the seat maps page then you will see the 2 different LGW/MAN configs. You can then have a look in the aircraft databasep section to see which a/c has which config/IFE system.

Using the info here I have looked at my Honeymoon Booking and it looks like I have the P*O IFE Both out and in.
I wish VIRGIN would Update the IFE or Replace these Frames completly. It is annoying to pay for PE and get 'CHAV' IFE.
Come on Virgin.... Its my Honeymoon.... Odyssey (Or V-PORT) Aircraft PLEASE.....
