On an average week how long would the MAN / LGW a/c be on the ground? That is if you did not include 3 hour turn arounds.

Let me GUESS that you're digging as a result of the facebook 'news' (opinions and rumours as opposed to facts) of late?
Few quick FACTS:
Aircraft don't get worn out by flying, they get worn out by CYCLES (a landing + takeoff, preferably in equal measures).
IF an aircraft could, it would 'prefer' to be in the air the whole time with an unlimited supply of fuel as it then doesn't get exposed to continual (extreme) changes in heating/cooling/stress and friction.
Aircraft are only profitable when GOING somewhere. Time on the ground is a pure cost.
ALL airlines try to maximise the number of hours an aircraft is in the air for, compared to those on the ground.
LHR aircraft have no more/less downtime than any LGW/MAN ones do.
Cleaning is performed on every cycle.
A 'deep clean' is performed with every routine maintenance slot.
Maintenance slots also allow for PROACTIVE work to be carried out on parts such as engines, BEFORE they become an issue.
Will all that help the concern...?

what will happen to procedures and a/c refits after the 'malicious staff comments' will vs address the small things that have been annoying pax and cabin crew . (ie) seats being a bit tired, the ife system being a bit out dated, And making sure that cabin crew are not so unhappy that they feel they need to post it on the web. I will finish by saying that the 99% of vs staff are super and have gave me lasting memories (honeymoon) but there must be something wrong if staff feel they have to do this.? All of what they said cant b just an in house work joke?
of course time is money and thats what they are there to do make money and as for the other topic i posted it was posted to find out if they have time to do the refits and enough a/c to cover i didnt say any thing about cleaning and im not digging! And yes i am concerned as me and my family will be flying with vs in 3 weeks And thanks for the warm welcome to v-flyer ?
I'd look at it from a perspective of 'outside VS'. Forget the VS/Facebook element of it - ALL British airlines HAVE to conform to the safety standards that are set by the CAA.
Remember that quite often, things are exaggerated (as they may well have been on the facebook page) by those who feel passionately about them.

i agree it has been exaggerated as is anything that is a controversial issue. IMHO i would want to be on one of them five a/c as they are the youngest out of the 8. I just hope the disciplinary gets as much coverage [:D] but i don't think it will (not vs fault) that's the way the media works

At this stage, any disciplinary action is between the company and the individuals and each party may choose or not (or agree confidentiality) whether to go public after. If this were you, I think you'd want the same process to apply?
