Virgin are obviously trying to fill some seats and have given a cheap fare to some of their special agents.
It looks to be in N class and for travel between:
28 October 2008 - 09 December 2008
30 December 2008 - 08 February 2009

H.I.S. (big Japanese company) are offering it but they can't show it on their site here http://www.his-euro.co.uk/english/tariff/japan/index.htm#vs. I presume this is so people can't use the internet price promise thing.
If you give them a call on 020 7484 3337 they can confirm prices
They charge 2% for VS Amex but it's still a lot cheaper than anything else available.

They can also do some great Asian multi-centres using VS long haul and then a load of different inter-Asian options on various carriers.

But as it's an N fare, you only get half the miles? I think I would a little more to get all the miles.

H.I.S. Special: £559 - Normal Special: £625
The price difference is £66

You earn 50% of miles on most of the booking classes now that area anywhere near cheap, it is only that you get 1 tier point as opposed to 2.
Economy Lowest (Q,X,V,N*): 50%
*N class will earn 1 tier point per sector. All other classes will continue to earn you 2 tier points per sector.

To earn normal miles now you have to get an M class fare which is over £800 so for that much difference I would sacrifice the tier point.

Or the other option is to fly in November before the new rules kick in!!
