Hi,

We return from our honeymoon (booked through Trailfinders) on VS44 from LAS - LGW on 24th Novemeber and I've noticed that our itinerary lists our pre-assigned seats as 35C & 35A.

I'm a little concerned that as there's no mention of 35B and that my (new!) wife and I will be separated for the 10 hour flight home.

Can anyone provide confirmation or an alternative explanation for this?

I'm a little at a loss to believe that they'd book us into two non-adjacent seats but all the evidence seems to point to that.

Thanks for any light you may be able to shed on this [:)]

Hi Chris,

Why not log on to the Virgin website and use the 'manage my booking' section where you will be able to view the seat map and move seats if you want to/there are options available.

Your will need your Virgin PNR number which you should have been given from Trialfinders, if not just ring and ask for it.

If you still struggle you could give Virgin a call and they should be able to tell you your booking code and also help you with any queries you have.

Don't know if it help, but on a 747 config 3 seat map on the VS website there is no seat 35B! [:?]

Except that if they are going to LAS they won't be on a config 3 plane unless they're very lucky. That's an LHR plane. They would need a config 1 or 2 both of which show row 35 as a 3-4-3 layout.

Chris, I would do as Neil suggests and either look at Manage my Booking or ring VS direct

I take it that you are in PE? If that's the case, there are no 'B' seats in PE. It goes AC - DEFG - HK.

Aren't they returning from LAS? which according to V-flyer's Which Aircraft the last plane was a config 3?

Thanks for the advice both,

I'm now waiting for a cb from Trailfinders to get my PNR details.

We're returning from LAS to LGW, we've only booked Economy and I can't believe we've been upgraded to PE.

That's why I'm a little confused given that the seat plans for the 400's that service the route seem to show 3-4-3.

Oh the VS site, the LGW/MAN config is 747 config 2 not 3 (that is the new LHR config).

That's what confused me!!! Any way of reconciling the seat maps on V-flyer with VS's.

I'll go and sit in the corner with my hands on my head.[:I][:I]

The config 3 on the VS website is an LHR plane. the config 3 on the V-flyer
website is for the LGW/MAN fleet. In the three month history there has been an LHR plane just once from LAS.
