A 'spending miles' question

My wife and I are both members of the Exec Club.
We have been collecting miles for years and never realy tried to spend them.
However I have more miles than my wife.
Now the question.
I have more than enough for a single ticket UC from LHR to EWR, BUT my wife is somewhat short of enough.
However if we could add our miles together then we do have enough for two such tickets - so the question is can we in some way add our miles togther for a combined booking.

You have to have enough for a 'leg'. IE if the 2 UC fares were 200K you oculd use 150K and she could use 50K. Depending on how short she is you could also buy miles.

You could also buy an upgrable economy fare (Y, B, L) for your wife and then upgrade with 60k miles to UC.

As Decker also says, you can buy miles to make your balance up, there is currently a 15% promo on buy/gift miles at the moment too.

And don't forget, if you're short you can buy miles for yourself (i.e. your wife) and gift miles (i.e. from you to her).
