So it is. Although it does seem to have lost the link between my flying club number and my booking. Not too much of a hassle though.

Intresting that VS are asking for your name to exactly match your passport, yet there's no where to enter your middle name when making a new booking (there's only a box for your first and last names), therfore, any booking I do make online is never going to match exactly the name in my passport [:?]

In my passport, my middle name is printed in the 'Given Names' section along with my first name so do I just put this in the 'First Name' box when booking online [?]

On the pop up it does say.......

For security reasons it is absolutely essential that the name on your booking, ticket and passport are exactly the same. Your booking and ticket must reflect your first and last names only. Middle names are not required.

Middle names are not required.

Trouble is I am known by my middle name and that's what I sign. for that reason I have dropped my first name on my passport and everything else except my birth cert.

Well I guess then you just need to add your birth middle name into the first name box when booking a ticket. It just says yout ticket and passport need to match. If your passport has your birth middle name as your first name there shouldn't be any problem
