MAN-MCO, longer flight time in November than April

We are flying from MAN to MCO in November'08, and again in April'09. Same departure time and flight number, but scheduled arrival in November is 14.50, but in April it is 14.20.

Any idea why it takes 30 minutes longer in November?

Winter padding - people put on weight when it's colder and lose it ready for summer.

That November flight's got 15lbs x 300 passengers extra to haul across the sky.... [:w]

300 pax on a LGW/MAN 747 - you can wish. More than likely it'll be a full flight (especially if at a weekend) with 450 onboard.

Maybe they are flying the scenic route via Stockport[:w][:w]

The jet stream mostly - the Atlantic winds are a lot stronger in winter.
You'll notice that the return time is shorter in winter (the flight leaves at 18.30, not 18.15 like in the summer).
