I am vaguely planning a trip for two of us to Forida in May. Since we want to go outbound LGW - MCO and inbound MIA - LHR I don't want to tkae the car as we will land back at the 'wrong' London airport and have to travel away from home to collect.

My question is, if I book one ticket as D (with limo) and the other as Z (no limo) will we be able to share the limo to and from the airport?

Am I missing something? "Any full Upper Class fare booked in J class. Excludes Z Class APEX and Excursion type, seat sale or any other special/promotional type Upper Class fare." - Companion availability.

From VS website (as referenced above)

You must be travelling in Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic with a ticket booked into J or D booking classes (or F, C and D classes on flights with our codeshare airline partners). Discounted Upper Class tickets booked into other booking classes are not eligible for ground transfer options.

Decker,

This would suggest J or D (but not Z)

Sorry Pat - this is for use of a companion ticket NOT Limo ;)

Decker,

Sorry - it's clear when I re-read your post.

And, of course, you are too knowledgable that I should think you got it wrong:D

Hello everyone

I hadn't realised that VS did limo transfers to the nearest UK airport for people out of range of LGW/LHR:

"For UK addresses outside this range, the car will take you to/from the closest regional airport from the following list, and you will need to arrange a connecting flight: Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Teesside, Newcastle, Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, Belfast, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey."

As we're on Z fares in March we can't do the miles upgrade but I was wondering if anyone knew which company VS use for Manchester (from where we're connecting to LGW) - might be worth getting a quote?

Regards

Pat
