Just to keep you in the know, from 1st Feb all flights departing LHR should have two jetties in use, so J pax can board and disembark at the forward door. Hopefully this should improve priority boarding and speed up the boarding process in general.

Do Z class tickets get priority boarding as well?

Yup. Z class won't effect your level of service (apart from lack of CDC)

Yes, hopefully no scrum, but you'll still get the huffing, puffing and general bumping of gums about going first.

Another mojito I think.

Excellent news, although it is about time! Nice to see they have finally taken notice of the scrum down issues!
I wonder if BA are able to respond by doing the same or if its another advantage to travelling Virgin that they can shout about!

Hang on. Will I still be escorted past the ordinary people when boarding? [;)]

Well lets wait and see shall we guys - Heathrow, sort out the mess that is boarding? They can't even cope with the concept of priority boarding sometimes.

But if they do sort it out - it will be very welcome!

How will Gold/Silver/SQ PPS/PE boarding be effected? Extra lines in the non-J door?

Anyone had any experience of 2 door boarding yet?

I suppose the most important question is - Did you get your pre flight champers any quicker?

2 door boarding has been in operation on certain flights for quite a while now, we had it last October and it worked fine.

Champagne quicker? That all depends on how observant and efficient the crew are.
